The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
The enemy’s job is to steal your hope, kill your dreams, and destroy your purpose. A Christian with no purpose is not a threat to the kingdom of darkness.
When fear comes, channel your inner Joshua and Caleb. When you see giants, don’t agree with fear by saying, “yes, this is scary.” Agree with Jesus by saying nothing is impossible for those who believe (Mark 9:23).
I’m angry about the havoc wreaked by fear when it has zero authority to be messing with us. Will you get angry with me and take your life back? Let’s be so angry at fear that we do something out of our comfort zones every day just to teach it a lesson. This is what the kingdom of darkness gets when you mess with a son and daughter of the King of Kings.
I love what my friend did in high school once. She woke up bothered by something that morning, so instead of letting it ruin her day, she opened the door for everyone coming into school, greeting them with a smile on her face and saying, “Good morning! Have a great day!” She told me she was giving the enemy a black eye because he tried to give her one.
“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1
Let’s roar the hell back.
Have a fearless afternoon!
Hugs,
Cristy
