Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Last year, the Lord impressed upon my heart to begin a blog to bring hope and encouragement to people trudging through a difficult, dark world. One year later, I still didn’t have a plan to start one. An unfortunate day in May 2019 pushed me to begin a daily devotion for family going through an extremely difficult situation. The Lord gave me multiple on-time, right-now words that many family members encouraged me to publish them. “Reaching4hope” was born. 

I wasn’t sure how to do what the Lord asked me to do last year, but He guided my steps and birthed something within me that He started in my heart. I’m not saying he caused the heartache in my family members for reaching4hope to be born, but he definitely worked some things together for good (Romans 8:28) and accomplished His Word according to Philippians 1:6. 

In all of the coming stories and devotions, I hope you find Him, and I hope your hope is restored and strengthened. In everything, He is always good.
